Counselling

Jodi Gibbs

We all experience personal challenges or issues in our lives. There are, however, times when issues may be too much for us to manage on our own, and seeking support and strategies from a professional such as a counsellor can be helpful. This is a secure and private discussion, the one you may not be able to have with family and friends.

Counselling is a process of talking about and working through your personal concerns. Helping you to address problems in a positive way by helping you to clarify the issues, explore options, develop strategies and increase self-awareness. For some people, just the process of telling their story, and being listened to, is helpful.

Counselling provides confidential support. This means that everything you discuss is private, between you and the counsellor. The exception is when a counsellor has a duty of care to report something that threatens your wellbeing or the wellbeing of others. This legal requirement will be explained to you in your first counselling session.

If you are struggling with

  • grief and loss
  • communication and relationships issues
  • work and career issues
  • stress, anxiety and depression
  • life transitions such as the birth of a new baby, separation, divorce or the death of a family member or friend
  • parenting
  • addiction
  • abuse
  • trauma
  • self-esteem difficulties.

Counselling will enable you to develop self-understanding and make changes in your life.

Transformational Therapy

It is an extremely dynamic, fast and effective therapy which is designed to uncover the root cause of your issue/s, free you from any self-defeating beliefs/patterns and imprint new positive and powerful messages into your subconscious to produce permanent life-changing results.

With exceptionally high success rates in assisting weight loss, confidence and low self-esteem, depression and anxiety, stopping smoking and other addictions and has also seen incredible results for chronic pain, insomnia, fears and phobias.

This is a solution-focused therapy which will go back to the root of the problem, address it and clear it once and for all from your life.  Hypnotherapy is used as the vehicle because of its ability to allow access to the subconscious (the part of our mind that holds the info & keys to our freedom). You also receive a recording customized especially for you which you need to commit to listening to for at least 21 days.  While the session is the cure, giving you both understanding and freedom, this is reinforced by listening to the recording making it permanent!

No matter your age, background or past experiences, how you experience life is based on the way you perceive it and these perceptions/beliefs can be questioned and altered in order for your experience to be changed for the better.

Your mind holds the keys to unlock your blocks. You deserve the freedom you’ll find.

Initial consultation cost is $175 for 1 hour to assess your needs
